Talking about her inspiration behind joining the field of art, Aparna Bajpai shares that she had a natural blend of artistic talents. Painting had been an innate gift for her, and she pursued her passion academically by completing both her graduation and post-graduation in Fine Arts. She excels in various forms of painting but took a brief pause from it between the ages of 35 to 40 to focus on her singing career, which has led her to significant achievements in the music industry.
Reflecting on her early years, Aparna Bajpai says she was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and pursued her post-graduation in Fine Arts. Her career in the world of music was deeply influenced by her mother, who was a talented singer herself. She credits her mother as her first guru in the field of singing, acknowledging that the gift of music was passed down to her as a cherished inheritance. Though her mother is no longer with her, Aparna continues to carry forward this musical legacy with pride and dedication.
Following her time in Kanpur, Aparna’s life took her to various cities, including Lucknow, Gwalior, Delhi, Chandigarh, Bhopal, and Jaipur, alongside her husband, gaining diverse experiences and cultural exposure. Aparna was married in 1993, and her husband worked with Mahindra and Mahindra before retiring. Each city brought new opportunities and challenges, shaping her into the versatile artist she is today.
Talking about role models, Artist Aparna Bajpai says she believes that every child should consider their parents as their first role models. As a mother herself, she understands that a mother teaches a child to speak, while a father teaches them to walk, shaping them into individuals who can present themselves confidently to the world. Aparna considers her mother as her first role model, as she learned everything from her—drawing, painting, household management, decorating, and even singing. Her father also played a crucial role in her upbringing, teaching her the art of gardening and always maintaining a smiling face. His selfless nature and ability to give without expecting anything in return have deeply influenced her.
Apart from her parents, her uncle, who was a talented painter, guided her on her artistic path. After marriage, her mother-in-law became another source of inspiration, helping her learn things that she hadn’t learned earlier.
When her son faced significant challenges during his 11th and 12th grades, he tackled them with resilience, which filled her with immense pride. Observing his strength gave her the determination to fight through life’s struggles.
Similarly, her daughter taught her the value of time and commitment, as she always fulfills the promises she makes to herself. From her daughter, Aparna learned the importance of time management, and from her son, she learned to never give up or feel exhausted, but to keep moving forward.
Throughout her career, she has met several inspiring women who have encouraged her growth. In Jaipur, Snehlata Bhardwaj has been a great support, always working towards empowering women interested in social service. Reshma Khan, the Director of Akashvani, Jaipur, is another source of inspiration—despite being a cancer survivor, she has emerged as a symbol of strength and motivation for many. Bajpai also looks up to Jyoti Joshi, an international anchor and cancer survivor, who has faced numerous hardships yet continues to inspire others. She considers her a mentor and idol, admiring her resilience and determination.
Through these experiences and inspirations, Anchor Aparna Bajpai continues to grow, embracing the lessons life and the people around her have taught her, and striving to be a source of motivation for others.

For aspiring artists and individuals looking to make a mark in the field of art, Aparna Bajpai offers valuable advice. She believes that anyone can achieve success in their chosen field if they focus on two key aspects:
She strongly emphasizes that if a child has a natural inclination towards art, they should be encouraged to follow their passion rather than being pressured into fields that do not align with their interests. She reassures young individuals that even if their parents do not initially support their aspirations, success often brings understanding and encouragement. She encourages them to hold on to their dreams with resilience because the goals they have set for themselves are already waiting for them.
As a woman, Aparna Bajpai strongly believes that life doesn’t slow down after 40—it truly begins. She has observed many women between the ages of 35 and 40 feel that their time for achieving something new has passed. However, she passionately refutes this mindset, stating that a woman’s journey of self-discovery and success starts after 40.
By the time women reach their 40s, they have fulfilled many responsibilities, making it the perfect phase to recognize their hidden talents and pursue their passions. She encourages women to embrace this stage of life as an opportunity to redefine their dreams and create their own identity beyond societal expectations.
Multi-talented Aparna Bajpai’s story is a testament to determination and self-belief. She faced challenges early on when her family did not initially support her ambitions. However, she remained steadfast in her resolve, believing that her talents were meant to be shared with the world, not confined within four walls.
She strongly advocates for women to establish their own identity—to be known not just as someone’s wife or mother but for their own achievements. She recalls the determination within her that fueled her journey: "Why should I always walk behind my husband? One day, he should walk behind me too."
Today, she is proud that her husband, children, and entire family stand by her side, supporting her aspirations. She urges every woman to live her dreams fearlessly because, as she says, “Zindagi na milegi dobara”—we only live once, and we must make the most of today.
Beyond human empowerment, Aparna Bajpai is deeply compassionate about animal welfare. She believes that just as society works toward helping people in need, we must also extend our kindness to animals. She urges everyone to:
Her heartfelt message is simple yet powerful: Let’s not only serve humanity but also be a voice for the voiceless.
