Anupam Agarwal has dedicated his life to teaching and developing the youth, in which he is also accompanied by his wife.

Anupam Agarwal is the owner of a coaching academy - IMS Learning Centre.

Anupam hails from Udaipur. He started out his career seventeen years back by working in Reliance. After working there for about eight years, Anupam and his wife decided to start their own venture. Before starting the business, his wife was also working somewhere else. But eventually they felt like they needed to be more financially secure and so they should start something of their own.

Anupam’s wife had taken the initiative and quit her job to start the business, and soon he too joined in. The switch was not very easy though, they did face some difficulties initially like capital investment, balancing work and family life, etc. but with time they learned to manage everything.

Anupam says that COVID made people learn many crucial things about life. Though business suffered, they somehow managed through online mode. He says a good thing about the pandemic was that many people got to spend quality time with their family.

Talking about his childhood, Anupam says that his father had served in the Vidya Bhawan School and they used to live in a quarter. He had an active lifestyle and enjoyed playing in the field with his friends. Anupam reflects that life during his childhood and the life of today’s children are hugely different and today’s children are more stressed out and rarely possess fighting spirit in them. He says that children should engage in sports to become mentally and physically strong.

Anupam’s motivation is his business and his ambition to take his business to even greater heights and generate income for many people. All in all, he considers himself his own role model.

Anupam thinks that although education is important in a career, experience has an undefeated role in our lives.

Apart from his work, Anupam loves gardening and spending time in nature. He has maintained a beautiful garden in his home, to which he devotes his three to four hours everyday. His garden is full of different varieties of plants and pots made by him.

Given a chance to relive his past differently, Anupam would like to start his business way earlier.

Anupam spends a major part of his day studying and learning, something which he had never imagined earlier. Not only he, but his wife also devotes time to studies in order to keep improving as teachers. He relishes in teaching his subject which is Quantitative Aptitude  and finds peace while in the class interacting with students. While teaching, his main focus is to provide his students with all the knowledge associated with the topic that he is teaching, so as to make value of what they teach.

Anupam’s success mantra for this business is honesty and proper counselling of students. He says that he doesn’t mind less admissions if it is for the sake of students' future. Also, he and his wife never shy away from hard work. And these are the values that he follows and implements in his business.
