From working in the banking sector to jumping into entrepreneurship, Anshuman regrets nothing. He feels that a job gets you the experience that helps you in building your own company.

Anshuman Rathore is the owner of a chain of service apartments, Jaipur Residence.

Anshuman was born and brought up in Jaipur. He did his initial schooling from St. Anselm School, Jaipur. He did his 11th and 12th standard from BRCM Public School near Pilani. Anshuman then came back to Jaipur and did his graduation and MBA. He then worked for nine years in ICICI bank before getting into entrepreneurship.

Anshuman says that after doing a job for nine years he decided to try his hand in business and did two-three ventures which were also profitable. Then he came into the service apartments business and thought of starting the same in Jaipur in 2013.

Talking about his struggles, Anshuman says that the initial four to five years were the struggling phase where he had to manage funds and arrange for salaries. He feels that if we work with focus, transparency, and dedication, every struggle can be overcomed.

Sharing his experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, Anshuman feels that it taught us that we can live very easily with very less. We do not require much to survive is what he thinks. Anshuman says that, even during the pandemic period, he paid full salaries to his workers and did whatever his pocket allowed to help them.

Talking about his role models, Anshuman says that his mother is the one for him. His mother is a doctor and went to a boarding school in times when it was considered a taboo for girls to go out to study. Anshuman says that she gives him a lot of encouragement and the right advice in life.

If given a Time Machine, Anshuman would like to go back to his school life and study more and focus more on his career.

When asked about his advice for the youth, Anshuman says that the competitive scenarios have changed drastically. There is a lot of pressure on the youth and the advice he would like to give is to not get influenced, gain different experiences, sit with their elders, and work really hard to first learn the process before starting something of their own.

On his opinion about leadership skills, Anshuman says that he is a decent team leader and boss. He gets his qualities from the glorious past of Rajput Kings that he often reads and gets inspired from.

In his free time, he likes to do gardening, swimming, going on long drives, and listening to something motivational.
