Annant Baheti is in the Hospitality field and feels that punctuality and diligence are very important when it comes to managing a Hotel or Restaurant.

Annant Baheti is from Jodhpur. He did his graduation from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai and then PG-MBA in HRM and Finance.

Annant says that his interest in Cooking and related fields started when he was in 7th standard and used to watch his mother cook. In 2015, he started the first late-night delivery outlet named ‘Foodie Box’ in Jodhpur. In 2018, he came up with ‘Café 651’ , the first of a kind specialty coffee café in his city.

Annant says that his H.O.D. of Food Production, Vernon Coehlo has been a great mentor to him. He used to advise Annant to be persistent and consistent with his culinary skills.

Annant says that to start a business in this field, one has to do a lot of market research and understand the customer base. Getting a sense of the market is very necessary for this field.

Talking about his achievements, Annant says that he won the Best Debut Café Award in the Jodhpur Food Awards, 2018. Then he won the TripAdvisor Travelers Choice award in 2020 and 2021.

Annant thinks that we should always give back to society and do something for the people in need around us. For the same reason, Annant organizes one charity event each year, earnings of which he donates for a social cause.

Annant advises the youth to establish ground rules for themselves and to work with ethics. He says that branding is also important in this field.
