Ankita is a web developer by profession and a musician and dancer by passion. She is living a very successful life because of her talent and passion and has tasted success at a very young age.

Ankita Barwad has been working as a Web Developer at an IT company called Harman for the past three years. Besides, she is also associated with a music company called ‘In life Music’ based in Bangalore. Under this company, musicians and artists from different corners of the country come together to perform different music events like live concerts, jamming, open mic sessions and build their network.

Regarding her childhood, Ankita says she was always a studious kid and was never active in any extracurricular activities of the school. But after watching a dance talent show on TV in 2008, she got fascinated about dancing. Slowly she learned different dance forms and even stepped into music by learning to play the guitar.

Ankita belongs to Bhopal. She did her schooling from St. Mary’s Convent School. She did her Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from LNCT College. She got her first job in Cognizant through campus placement. Meanwhile, trying her hands at her creative skills, she started making and selling lamp shades through her Instagram handle. In addition, she also ran dance classes till she waited for her joining.

Ankita says that along with working at Cognizant, she used to record and post her songs on social media. Soon, she was approached by the co-founder of ‘In Life Music Company’ for her association. That’s when her journey as a musician kicked off.

When asked about her hard times, Ankita says that she faced most of the hardship during her college days. She got cheated by trusting the wrong people and went into depression. After a lot of struggle and with the help of two of her friends, she was able to get out of it.

Talking about her role models, Ankita says she considers her father as her biggest inspiration for his versatility of creative and technical skills. Besides, she draws inspiration from every person she meets because she believes that there is always something or the other to learn from them.

Ankita believes that being happy, always learning something and gaining experience are the only keys to be successful.

In her spare time, Ankita enjoys meditating, learning different types of music, playing the guitar and dancing.
