In addition to his Media and Marketing profession, Ankit tried his hands at Photography and Event Management too. Eventually, he ended up running his own tattoo studio in Mumbai in want of doing something of his own.

Ankit Raturi is the owner of ‘Circle Tattoo Studio’ in Mumbai. Prior to that, he spent eight years in the field of marketing in many media companies like ZEE. He worked in the event management field too.

Ankit hails from Mumbai but has his original roots from Uttarakhand. He says that he always wanted to do engineering for which he joined a Diploma course just after his 10th std. But he could not do it so he left the course in the second year itself. He did his B.Com alongside organizing events and doing photography projects on a freelance basis.

In the meantime, he also worked in a BPO for ten months. Then he did his MBA in Marketing and Media. Soon after completing his MBA, he joined NEO Sports as a marketing intern. Immediately after his internship was over, he joined TCS for events. He progressed in his journey and joined ZEE and worked there for a year. Soon, he started his own advertising agency by the name ‘The Social Thela.’

Recalling his childhood memories, Ankit says that he was very fond of playing cricket. From there his team management skills got developed, and that is helping him today.

Talking about his role models, Ankit says that with the changing times, his inspirations kept on changing.

Ankit says that during the COVID pandemic, when people were losing their jobs, he got an opportunity to work as a marketing manager at a tattoo studio. While working there, he developed a good network across the country. He also got so comfortable with the tattoo industry that he ended up opening his own tattoo studio under the name, ‘Circle Tattoo Studio.’

In his spare time, Ankit enjoys writing poetry and short sad stories. Besides, he likes watching movies.
