Ankit is striving to stabilize himself in the hospitality sector. He is a bartender and a sommelier who can help you find the right wine for your meal or for a special occasion.

Ankit Chawla hails from a small town named Agora in Punjab. He holds a Bachelor of Hotel Management from IHM, Jaipur.

Ankit shares that initially he was not really keen to pursue hotel management and none in his entire family had worked in the hospitality sector ever. But since he wanted to do something that required hands-on learning rather than theoretical learning, he chose to pursue hotel management.

Talking about his professional journey, Ankit says that he stepped into the hotel industry by working for La Marine Hotel in Jaipur. He then worked for some renowned resorts in Jaipur and Gurgaon. Currently, he is working for a hotel in Chandigarh as the head bartender.

When asked about his role models, Ankit says that one’s role models are bound to change with time. He has considered his Math teacher at school, the chefs, and the sommeliers he worked with as his role models in different stages of his life.

Though he has a hectic schedule, in his spare time, Ankit likes to watch movies and read books.
