Foogle isn’t just a café—it’s a global food experience. The menu is a vibrant celebration of fusion cuisine, offering a delicious blend of Japanese, Korean, Lebanese, Italian, Mexican, and Maharashtrian dishes. Designed for curious palates and adventurous foodies, the café brings together flavors from across the world under one cozy, contemporary roof.
Entrepreneur Ankit Chaplot shares that the saga of Foogle Café began in 2018, but its roots go back to their time in Goa, where he and his wife, Priyanka, were running a small business. Life took a new direction when their parents expressed a desire to be closer to them, prompting the couple to relocate to Udaipur, their hometown.
Once back, they felt inspired to start something fresh and meaningful. After exploring various possibilities, it was Priyanka who suggested an idea that truly clicked—food, something the city holds close to its heart. Motivated by this, they both decided to open a café.
The first six months were all about learning, experimenting, and exploring. Instead of jumping in, they took time to understand the local market, refine their concept, and gain practical experience in food and hospitality. This thoughtful approach helped shape a clear vision and strong identity for Foogle Café—a space built not just on global flavors, but on insight, intention, and a love for what Udaipur truly enjoys.
Foogle Café is known for its bold take on fusion food, offering a playful and innovative menu that includes delights like chocolate pani-puri, purizza, misal-pav, dip candies, stone ice cream, and much more. The café has carved a unique identity in Udaipur’s culinary scene by blending creativity with taste.
Since its inception in 2018, Foogle has successfully completed 500+ catering assignments across India, including Goa. One of their notable highlights was catering at the Sunburn Music Festival, Goa, in 2019. Their expertise has taken them to some of the Udaipur’s most prestigious venues, including Radisson, Ramada, Udai Vilas, Trident, Aurika, and several other premium properties—where they’re known for serving delicious yet healthy food, consciously moving away from oily or overly processed offerings.
Foogle’s catering services cover a wide range of events such as house parties, corporate events, birthdays, weddings, exhibitions, and private functions. With a strong, experienced team of 20 members, they are equipped to cater to up to 5,000 guests with efficiency and flavor.
The café also features a dedicated creative space for intimate exhibitions, workshops, and showcases, making it more than just a food hub—it’s an artistic, community-driven space.
According to customer feedback, Foogle is not just a café—it’s a homely experience. They also provide online delivery through Swiggy and Zomato, and offer table booking and dining deals through platforms like Dineout, Zomato Gold, and EazyDiner.

Reflecting on his early years, Ankit Chaplot says he began his academic pursuit at Maharana Mewar Public School in Udaipur. With a keen interest in Science, he pursued Engineering and went on to complete his Master’s Degree from the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Udaipur.
Ankit Chaplot’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to Goa, where he ran a successful business for five years. He ventured into modular kitchens, interiors, and furniture design, establishing a strong presence in the premium market. Over the years, he designed and delivered over 500 kitchens across Goa, catering to a high-profile clientele that included names like Vasundhara Raje, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Shabana Azmi, Tanvi Azmi, and several other Bollywood personalities including Tarun Arora.
In 2018, fulfilling his parents’ wish, Ankit moved back to Udaipur. With a desire to do something meaningful and closer to the heart of the city’s culture, he founded his own cozy, creative café—Foogle. What began as a passion project soon evolved into a beloved space known for fusion food, warm ambiance, and community engagement, embodying Ankit’s commitment to innovation, quality, and hospitality.
Ankit Chaplot is someone who thrives on experimentation and adaptability. Whether it was venturing into the modular kitchen business—an entirely new domain for him—or working in the manufacturing of electrical panels, he embraced every opportunity with a willingness to learn and grow. His diverse experiences reflect his ability to easily adapt across sectors and industries.
Owner of Foogle, Ankit’s true passion, however, has always been cooking. His love for food eventually evolved into a dream, one that found inspiration in the film ‘Chef’. It was this spark that led to the creation of Foogle Café. He recalls a casual moment with his cousin, sitting together and brainstorming names for the café. They wanted something catchy and easy to remember—Foogle was the perfect fit. Its tagline, "Your search for good food ends here," beautifully captures the essence of what the café offers.
Chaplot firmly believes in the power of trying new things. “You should always experiment and keep learning,” he says. He lives by a mindset of zero regrets—whether running a business or working a job, he embraces every role with equal enthusiasm. For him, every decision is an opportunity, and the key is to move forward confidently and wholeheartedly. That, he feels, is the true spirit of growth.
Talking about the challenges he has faced, Ankit Chaplot recalls the initial phase after completing his engineering degree. Despite his efforts, he struggled for nearly 6–8 months to find a job. Eventually, he landed a position at an electrical panel manufacturing company, where he worked for eight months, gaining hands-on experience in the electrical panel industry.
Motivated to grow further, Chaplot enrolled in an automation course related to his field and later pursued his Master degree. After completing his education, he stepped into the academic world and began teaching. His dedication and leadership soon earned him the position of Head of the Electrical Department at Career Point Technical Campus, Rajsamand. This chapter of his career continued until 2014.
Seeking a new direction, Ankit Chaplot decided to explore entrepreneurship. He moved to Goa and launched a modular kitchen business by taking a franchise of Sleek – The Kitchen Store. After several successful years in Goa, he returned to his hometown, Udaipur, in 2018 and laid the foundation for what would become one of the city’s most loved cafés—Foogle.
