Coming from a metro city, adjusting to a small town and adopting its work culture was not at all easy for Anju. But overcoming all the struggles, Anju managed to work for a pharmaceutical company in Udaipur and became its Global Sales Manager.

Anju Joshi is working as a Global Sales Manager at a pharmaceutical company in Udaipur.

Anju belongs to Delhi but has been living in Udaipur since her marriage. After her schooling, she did her BBA and Masters from Amity University.

Recalling fond memories of her childhood, Anju says that as a child, she used to go to her maternal grandparent's house where she used to enjoy going to the rivers, in the mountains and living among nature. She misses those moments when she used to go to the fields and work there, plucking fruits and eating them.

When asked about her role models, Anju says she considers her husband as her role model for pushing her to take up her job and bringing her to this point today.

Talking about her struggles, Anju says that life in Delhi and Udaipur was very different. She faced many challenges in her initial days settling down and mixing with people in her job here.

Regarding her achievements, Anju says she considers being a mother to a daughter as her biggest achievement. On the professional front, she was awarded the ‘Best Employee of the Year Award’ last year, which is an achievement for her.

Sharing her COVID experience, Anju says that digitalization has emerged in a very important way during the pandemic. Because of it, all the studies and work now can be done sitting at home, which is a good change. Along with this, the pandemic has also taught us the importance of our family.

About leadership, Anju opines that she does not consider herself a born leader but she has learned a lot from her life experiences and has been able to become a good leader by working under the leadership of good leaders.

Between education and experience, Anju believes that education is very important to take any job. Otherwise, you may face a lot of difficulties in getting a job without any degree. But after that only experience decides your future.

If Anju had a Time Machine, she would have wanted to go back in time and become a singer like her idol Lata Mangeshkar.

In her free time, Anju likes to spend time with her family and travel with them.
