Anju, a dedicated Physical Education teacher, takes great pride in the achievements of her students, who have won medals in various sports competitions. With strong determination, she has set her sights on guiding her students to compete at the national level.

Anju Chaudhary is a Physical Education teacher at a Government Senior Secondary School in Udaipur. She has been teaching since 2013.

Talking about her journey in teaching, Anju says that she chose to get into this profession because she loves children and could manage her family life well along with her job. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a master's degree in two subjects.

Recalling her childhood, Anju says that she was born in Bharatpur and had a keen interest in sports. She reminisces about her English teacher back in school and her scoldings, which taught her life lessons.

When asked about her role models, Anju says she draws inspiration from her father, who she admires for his initiatives towards nature and the environment.

Anju shares that the most challenging period in her life was when her husband passed away. In order to cope with the loss, she dedicated herself to teaching children, keeping herself busy, and finding solace in their presence. Meanwhile, she also helped in giving self-defence training, helping thousands of girls and teachers.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Anju says that a balance of both brings fruitful results.

For aspiring teachers, Anju says that they need to have a strong foundation to survive in this profession. She says that the youth should be made aware of several fields in which they can pursue careers.

In her free time, Anju indulges in creativity and listens to bedtime stories before sleeping.
