Anita, as a teacher, not only believes in imparting her knowledge, but she also believes in learning from her students along the way.

Anita Bhatnagar currently works as a primary classes incharge at Vidya Bhawan. She has been associated with the institution since 2004. Anita also teaches science to 6th grade students.

Recalling her childhood, Anita says that she was quite pampered as the youngest child in her family. She did her schooling at RMV School, followed by her B.Sc from Home Science College. Anita missed her M.Sc entrance by a few marks, and ended up doing an MA in Sociology. Thereafter, she did her B.Ed and also got a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Anita married in 1997, while she was working as a Junior Research Fellow at Home Science College. In 2000, she was blessed with a baby boy, following which she left her job and didn’t work for three straight years. Thereafter, in 2004, Anita joined Vidya Bhavan as a Food Processing Instructor and worked in the position till 2008.

Anita got the inspiration to work as a teacher from her aunt, who is the principal of a school. She also draws inspiration from one of her teachers in her school days. Anita also considers her father as her role model.

Learning from her mistakes, Anita says that she realized that behaving politely with the students and treating them with love is the best way to have a good equation with them. So she mended her ways and feels happy about it now.

Anita advises aspiring teachers to be full of moral values so as to spread the same for generations to come. She goes on to say that they should be patient and exhibit good behavior with their students.

If Anita could go back in time in a Time Machine, she would revisit her childhood and her school days.

In her free time, Anita likes to cook and read books. She also spends her time on YouTube, watching cooking videos and videos of various activities for children.
