Aniruddh is a Travel Photographer who records details of religious and cultural festivals. He takes his motivation and strength from the “Mahāmrityunjaya Mantra” and respects it deeply.

Aniruddh Dhannayak is from Hyderabad, Telangana. He is a Travel Photographer by profession.

He has interests in other forms of photography like Street Photography, Fashion, and Product Photography as well. However, his real passion is in Travel documentaries and Cultural and Religious Photography.

In 2017 he started with Cultural and Religious Photography and worked on collecting all the information about the festival taking place. He would then make documentaries out of it. He started a project, ‘Cultural and Religious Diversity’ to capture various traditions and cultures.

Aniruddh says that he faced many problems while traveling due to a lack of funds. However, he stayed with local people and they welcomed him like a family member. He got to know their culture and life. He says that once his lens also broke while working in a crowded festival.

During Covid, he had to stop his traveling and they shifted to their village. Aniruddh says that everything stopped for him for about two years. However, now he has started working again and everything is coming back on track.

Aniruddh shares that his proudest moment was when he attended the ten-day-long Hornbill Festival in Nagaland in 2018. He got to meet the Governor of Nagaland and he appreciated Aniruddh’s work. The Governor also gave him a project regarding the Tribals of Nagaland and Aniruddh feels that it was his biggest achievement.

He feels that society and culture are changing rapidly and one should explore to find new working fields and do something new.

In his free time, Aniruddh likes to go to his vegetable farm and help his father. He also likes to visit natural places and find some peace. He also plays Basketball.
