After completing a fulfilling career of 36 years in the PWD Department, Anil Sharma is now enjoying his retirement assisting his wife in running two schools in Udaipur.

Anil Sharma has been a Chief Engineer at PWD, Rajasthan.

Anil Sharma was born in Kota, Rajasthan. He did his primary schooling from Kota, followed by higher schooling in Bharatpur and Jodhpur. After completing his schooling, he decided to pursue engineering as he was inspired by other aspiring engineers of his locality. Thus, he completed his engineering in 1978 from MACT, Bhopal.

Along with being good in studies, Anil was also an avid sports person and has represented his school and university in five different sports. He says that he enjoyed his college days the most as there was a lot of freedom then and sufficient time to play sports.

Anil started his career from the post of JEN and reached the post of Chief Engineer in PWD, Rajasthan.

Talking about the people he finds inspirational, Anil says that his father and his wife are his role models. He says that his father's industrious and humble nature, and his wife’s visionary attitude and her art of managing home and work life efficiently inspires him the most.

Sharing the lessons he got to learn from his long tenure, Anil says that power is proportional to responsibility. He further says that a satisfying career and life can only be achieved by devoting yourself completely to whatever you are doing.
