Anil Pathak, a talented Painter and Sculptor from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, has spent the last forty years infusing his creativity into sculptures and paintings. Known for his unique ability to create stunning sculptures inside bottles, Anil claims to have earned a spot in the Limca Book of Records for his innovative art.
His artistic journey began in childhood when he would mischievously draw on the walls, much to his mother's dismay. However, it was his father who recognized his talent and sent him to the Rajasthan School of Arts after graduation to hone his skills.
Pathak credits his art teacher as a major influence, who encouraged him to continually explore new and unique forms of expression. Over the years, he has sculpted figures of great leaders, including Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, and Jawaharlal Nehru. One of his proudest achievements is selling 28 of his paintings, which brought him not only financial success but personal fulfilment. His work was even appreciated by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Drawing further inspiration from Wango, a European artist who overcame great struggles to achieve his dreams, Anil believes in pushing boundaries to create something extraordinary. He also advocates greater recognition of Indian artists and urges the government to offer support, such as pensions, to help promote and sustain their talent.
A deeply spiritual man, Anil is devoted to Lord Krishna, Lord Rama, and Lord Shiva. He finds peace and rejuvenation through yoga and meditation, practices that help him maintain his artistic flow.
