Anil Modi is currently working as a regional manager at Technoy Industries Ltd.,Udaipur. His story gives inspiration as to how to make a comeback after a failure.

Anil Modi hails from the Udaipur district in Rajasthan. His family comprises his parents, two elder brothers, two kids and his wife. His father is a doctor by profession and retired from the post of CMHO.

Anil says that he always wanted to do something of his own. So after completing his school education he started giving tuitions alongside his college. This way he would be able to contribute toward his college and personal expenses. He completed a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

Anil says that his journey after completing his college education has been a bit tumultuous. After B.Com. he started a marketing company. He would work hard day and night. He says that he would work for more than 12 hours a day. He was able to scale up his company and around 400 people were associated with his company. But tough times came when he got injured in his leg. Owing to that injury he couldn’t devote to his company as much time as he could have otherwise. And he had to shut down his company. After that he started a business of selling imported goods. He was also a business partner of the Reliance group in Udaipur. He was doing good all this while. But he suffered losses after some time. That’s when he thought of doing a job and started looking for the same. He joined Technoy Industries Ltd. in Udaipur. It’s been 12 years since he joined this company. Currently he is working as a Regional Manager at Technoy Industrues Ltd. and looks after the operations across Rajasthan.

Anil is of the opinion that education is really important in one’s life. Education has helped him decide what to do and what not to. He also continued his education whilst he was working and completed LLB.

Anil considers himself his own role model. He always remains focused on the job at hand and tries to improve himself continually.

Anil learns from his mistakes. If given a chance to go back in time he would want to undo the mistakes that he committed.

To people who want to succeed in their profession or business, Anil advises that customer service and customer satisfaction are of paramount importance to succeed in any business. One should always provide the best quality products and services to one’s customers.

Reflecting on his childhood, Anil says that he was the youngest in his family and was very naughty. He spent most of his childhood with his mother as his father would always be away due to his occupation. As a kid he would like to play cricket. He shares one incident when he was going on a picnic with his friends. He was driving the car and all of a sudden the front left tyre got punctured and his car rammed into a truck. But luckily there wasn’t any casualty.

Besides his work, whenever he gets free time Anil likes to spend time with his family.
