Anil Joshi is a painting artist. He is the owner of Anchal Arts in Bhilwara.
Anil was born and brought up in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. He was always supported by his parents in whatever he wanted to do. He completed his graduation from Bhilwara and started a handicraft business on his own. He explored and executed various government plans and projects in the field of the arts to make his company grow.
Speaking about his challenges, Anil says that he faced many struggles in his journey due to a lack of facilities in his town. He had been fond of creative things and the arts since childhood and always felt that he would choose it as a profession when he grew up. He used to make colours on his own and participate in different competitions keeping it secret from his father. Later, his father also started supporting him in the field of art, and he then proceeded further to make a career in this field. He also underwent a struggling phase in Delhi, where he worked for various institutions and spent seven years there. Through his hard work and dedication, he has now become an artist who can paint with both hands.
When asked about his role models, Anil says that his parents are his role models because they supported him at every step in life. He was also inspired by the art and the life of Padma Shri Shrilal Joshi.
Anil says that it is important to be clear about your goals and profession in life along with your education. If you are passionate and dedicated to your work, you can achieve success in any field.
Anil’s success mantra is that it is important to compete with yourself instead of competing with others. One should recognize their skills and talent and practise to learn every moment to achieve the desired goals.
Anil has also started an organisation called "Art School’ to train poor and backward children who are interested in this field. He also provides the required material to them. The main purpose behind this organisation is to ensure that the next generation does not struggle the way he did. His objective is to teach art skills to the less fortunate.
In his spare time, Anil loves to spend time with his family members. He also likes to listen to music whenever he feels low and tired, as music gives him satisfaction.
Recalling his childhood, Anil says that he had a very mischievous childhood and used to play various games.
Sharing his COVID experience, Anil says that he learned the use of digital technologies at the time of the pandemic. With the use of social media platforms, he got a chance to spread his art.
