Dr. Amul Mishra was working in the corporate sector. However, when he realized that he should give something back to society, he joined academia in 2010 and has been passing his knowledge down to students ever since.

Dr. Amul Mishra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, BN University, Udaipur. He has been associated with the institute for the past eighteen years.

Amul was born in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Later his family shifted to Rajsamand in Rajasthan when his father got a job there. He studied till 8th-grade in Rajsamand. Then his family shifted to Udaipur and he completed the remainder of his schooling from there. After completing his schooling, he did his bachelors, masters, and P.h.D. from BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Udaipur.

Amul says that after completing his formal education, he worked in the Corporate sector in the Marketing and Industrial domains. Later, with an aim to give something back to society, he joined academia and started teaching at BN University which is his alma mater too.

Amul considers his father, who despite all the odds in life, made an identity of himself, as his role model and inspiration.

Talking about challenges in his life, Amul says that when he was in his first year of bachelors, his father expired which left him emotionally devastated. However, he says his mother always encouraged and motivated him and because of her only, he could survive the tough phase of his life and also could complete his education.

Apart from his profession, Amul likes to sing, paint, sketch, and read books.

If he could go back in time via a Time Machine, Amul would want to relive the moments  lived with his father.

Amul thinks that youth are the future of the nation and they play a crucial role in nation-building. Therefore, he advises them to keep chasing their goals irrespective of how tough the situations are.
