A hard working manager, Amit has been working for a pharmaceutical company and has seventeen years of experience in this field. He also provides industrial training to the students at his own institute of professional studies.

Amit Lohar is a Quality Analysis Manager at Western Drugs Ltd. in Udaipur.

Amit informs us that Western Drugs produces vitamin B3. The food, cosmetics, and multivitamin pill industries all use vitamin B3 in their products. Amit has 17 years of experience in this field. In addition, he also manages his own institute where commerce graduates receive industrial training. His primary goal is to inspire students to pursue careers in industry, namely in areas such as production, R&D, quality assurance, and quality control.

Amit is a native of Udaipur. He graduated from Udaipur with a degree in chemistry. In addition, he completed a master's programme in Total Quality Management and Chemistry.

Amit shares that he dropped out of college after his final year in order to focus on preparing for the medical entrance exam and went to Kota. He  wanted to become a doctor. However, after failing to qualify for the same, he chose to pursue a pharmaceutical diploma. He chose this career since he liked pharmaceuticals and medicines.

Amit suggests that every area has an abundance of opportunities. Setting and achieving goals in your area of interest is crucial. Give it your all, says Amit. However, make sure you always have a fallback strategy in place in case your first one doesn't work.

Regarding role models, he looks up to his father who endured hardships and made many sacrifices during his life.

Speaking of his difficulties, Amit states that he had to face several challenges when preparing for the medical admission tests. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to fulfil his dream of becoming a doctor. It was a difficult period for him when his father passed away during the first COVID wave. During the pandemic, he and his family members spent fifteen days in the hospital, which presented several challenges.

Amit advises aspirants to the pharmaceutical sector that a graduate degree in a science stream or a certificate in pharmacy are the prerequisites for entry into the pharmaceutical industry. To obtain practical knowledge, it's also critical to tour industries and participate in industrial training.

He asserts that experience and education are comparable in importance. The prerequisites for entering any sector include a basic education or degree, after which one can acquire the experience needed to realise their aspirations.

Amit enjoys giving students industrial training in his free time. In addition, he enjoys watching movies, hanging out with his family, and listening to music.

If given a time machine, he would use it to travel back in time and solidify his foundation in the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades in order to pass the medical test. Along with having fun with his pals, he also wants to relive his college years.

The quote “Live and let live” inspires him a lot. He also believes that it is important to be practical in life and one should let things go and move ahead in life.
