His father worked in various businesses before launching a biomass briquettes company. He also started doing tie-ups with different colleges and universities to deeply understand the use of biomass and biogas. He won an award for developing the Clean Cook Stove, a biomass stove. Afterwards, in 2014, he decided to start a new company to provide biotechnology solutions for waste management. Initially, he faced many challenges, but in 2017, the government passed a law that benefited him a lot and helped enhance his business.
Amit shares that waste management starts at the source of the waste. He says waste can be converted into resources. He says for sustainable waste management, it is important to segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes.
