Having identified the artist within him, Amit undertook training in tattoo making and kept learning along with his experiences.

Amit Bajaniya is a tattoo artist and the CEO of Sam Tattoo Lounge. He is a graduate and hails from Morbi, a city in Gujarat.

Recalling his childhood, Amit says that he worked as a salon artist and gradually started his journey in tattoo making in 2017. He has salon experience spanning over eight years. Amit is thankful to his cousin brother, because of whom he could grow in the tattoo industry.

When asked about his role models, Amit says he draws inspiration from Sunny Bhanushali, founder of Aliens Tattoo, for his support and encouragement of upcoming tattoo artists.

Sharing his pandemic experience, Amit says that though he spent a good time with his family during that period, he was constantly worried about restarting his career as a tattoo artist after the pandemic was over.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Amit puts experience in the front seat, since he believes that he has learned only through his experiences.

Advising the youth, Amit suggests they work with their hearts and stay focused during the process. He adds that there is no shortcut to success.

When free, Amit is often mentally occupied with his business ideas. His hobbies include meeting and interacting with people.
