Amit Singh Chugh has been running his family business in Himachal Pradesh since the age of seventeen years. It was established by his father in the year 1977, under the name, ‘Amit Bakers.’
Amit spent his childhood in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. He was fond of playing cricket in his childhood. He had even played in the under-19 tournament at the state level. Then, even after working hard to go further in the sport, he could not succeed and so he joined his family business.
Talking about his role models, Amit says he considers his father as his role model because he has created a very good business platform after starting from scratch. Also, he has made a name for himself all over the city because of his work.
Regarding his struggles, Amit says that small businesses have suffered a lot due to the advent of online platforms. He says they have to struggle a lot while buying the goods at lower cost to earn a fair margin while reselling them.
Amit advises the new entrepreneurs that no matter what your business is, you don’t have to rush in it. Further he says that instead of leaping for success, take one step at a time to be able to avoid any mistakes and reach where you want to.
Anyone who wants to make a career in the food line, Amit tells them not to feed your clients what you can’t feed your family. He says that the more honestly you work in this line of business, the further it will take you.
If Amit had a Time Machine, he would like to go back to his childhood and try his best to become a cricketer.
In his spare time, Amit likes to watch cricket and comedy movies and videos.
