A Poet, Author, and Professor, Dr. Ambareen Haseeb Amber fell in love with books and poetry at a young age. And even today, she never misses a chance to do poetry however hectic her schedule may be.

Dr. Ambareen Haseeb Amber is a Poet, Author, and Professor of Urdu.

Ambareen was born and raised in Karachi. Her father was an academician. Growing up, she always loved reading books. After completing her Masters in Urdu, she also did her PhD in Urdu from Karachi University.

Talking about her childhood, Ambareen says that her childhood was spent really well. She was always surrounded with books, which made her fall in love with the smell of books. Besides, she says that the values she was taught in her childhood have immensely shaped her personality today.

In 2012, Ambareen launched her debut book and she was awarded with Parveen Shakir Khushboo Award for the same.

Talking about challenges in her life, Ambareen says that at times people tried to malign her image and bring her down. However, her husband was always there by her side in all ups and downs in her life.

For Ambareen, Success means being able to strike a balance between her personal and professional life and not just excelling at either of them.

Ambareen considers Hazarat Zainab- a character mentioned in the Quran, her biggest inspiration.

Ambareen thinks nobody is born perfect, we all endeavor to achieve perfection with our daily efforts. Besides, she says that one should never stop learning in life.

Ambareen advises people to do things that they are passionate about without imitating what others are doing.

Talking about Education and Experience, Ambareen says that more than information it’s knowledge that matters.

In her spare time, Ambareen likes to listen to music, watch movies, and read books.

To people her message is that we all must endeavor to make the world a better place to live for each one of us.
