Driven by her determination, Aman has lived a thirty-three years long journey in the Aviation sector, achieving many high positions and touching the heights.

Aman Saini is the Airport Director at the Surat Airport. Besides, for the last eight years, she has also ventured into academics and has been working as an Instructor at the Indian Aviation Academy. Along with this, she is also a qualified IQ-IATA Instructor and Course Developer and developed multiple courses for the International Civil Aviation Organization. She is also an International Airport Professional-IAP.

Aman hails from Kurukshetra in Haryana. She did her MBA from Kurukshetra University itself. As soon as she finished her post-graduation, she applied for a job in the AAI by clearing her National Level Exam. And back in 1988, she joined the Aviation sector as an Airport Manager-trainee at Delhi Airport and since then she kept on moving forward in her career.

Talking about her achievements, Aman says that she considers herself fortunate enough to meet Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at an Airport she was posted at. She says because of her workplace, she has met many big celebrities, which is an achievement for her. Also, in recognition of her work during the Covid-19 pandemic, she was awarded the ‘Certificate of Commitment’ by the ‘World Book of Records, London.’

Aman says that due to the Covid pandemic, the whole world has suffered a lot. But the Aviation industry has been impacted badly for a long time. During the pandemic, she made the Cargo Terminal of the Surat Airport operationalised and transported medicines and other essential items through it.

If anyone wants to make their career in the Aviation industry, Aman tells them that it offers ample opportunities to make a career in as it is the fastest growing industry as of now. Further she says that if you work sincerely and give your best, then no one can stop you from achieving success.

According to Aman, both Education and Experience are important but you cannot take experience unless you receive basic education.

About Leadership, Aman says that she believes in leading by example. So more than speaking, she believes in doing and always takes her team along.

In her spare time, Aman enjoys trekking, being a nature lover and working for women welfare. Besides this, she loves cycling, exercising and traveling.
