Stay true to your path, despite the challenges.
Aman Alam, a talented professional bass player and guitarist, embarked on his musical journey in 2010 while still in the tenth grade. His passion for music drove him to Delhi, where he could immerse himself in his craft and pursue his dreams.
For Aman, the guitar isn’t just an instrument—it’s his emotional outlet. Whether he's feeling joy, sadness, or simply seeking solace, his guitar is his constant companion, providing both an escape and a way to celebrate life. He describes it as more than just an instrument; it feels like a close friend, always by his side.
When reflecting on his accomplishments, Aman Alam humbly notes that no single achievement stands out. Instead, he believes every day is worth cherishing, with each performance, gig, and opportunity to create music being an achievement in itself. For him, the simple joy of making and sharing music with others is the most rewarding aspect of his career.
Aman Alam also embraces the inevitability of mistakes, acknowledging that errors happen daily and often require an outsider’s perspective to notice. One of the personal challenges he faces is becoming a better listener, a skill he consciously works on improving each day.
While Aman finds inspiration in many great artists from across the country, two people have played a significant role in his life: his mentors, Shashi and Virat. These two figures have been guiding forces in Aman's career, offering support and advice from the very beginning, helping shape him into the artist he is today.
Aman’s advice to the younger generation is simple yet profound: people will always have negative things to say, but life goes on. He urges them to remember why they started their journey in the first place and to stay true to their path, no matter the challenges. Success, he believes, comes from perseverance and remaining focused on your goals.
In his free time, Aman doesn’t follow a strict routine. Sometimes he’ll call his friends or his mother, while other times he might attend parties, read a book, or simply browse the internet.
His downtime activities vary depending on his mood, but one thing remains constant: he approaches life with a balance of spontaneity and purpose, always ready to embrace whatever the moment brings.
