After facing many stumbling blocks, Altaf was able to do something good in life. He started a school in his village and feels happy in making the careers of his students.

Altaf Hussain Qureshi is the Principal at ‘Child Care School’ in Handwara, Jammu & Kashmir.

Altaf did all his schooling and college from his village itself. As soon as he finished his graduation, he thought of doing something big in life. As he had always been fascinated about running a school, he started his own school.

Recalling his childhood memories, Altaf says that he used to study in an open ground under the shade of a tree in his school time, which he feels nostalgic about.

Altaf says about his struggles that because of giving up his education at a young age, he faced a lot of challenges at every turn of his life.

Regarding his mistakes, Altaf says that there had come a time in his life, when he left education and ran after money. But soon after stumbling in life, he understood that if he had completed his education on time, then he would have eventually earned money.

Between Education and Experience, Altaf gives more importance to Experience. He feels that you can achieve heights on the basis of your experience.

When asked about Leadership, Altaf says that he considers himself a born leader.

Altaf advises the young generation that you should make books your friend and irrespective of any caste, creed or religion, stay focussed towards your career.
