An entrepreneur, Alok started his career by aiming to do something different in the field of electronics and learned a lot from his father. He has been working in this field for the last fifteen years.

Alok Singh Sisodiya is the owner of MES Services in Ajmer.

Alok belongs to Ajmer. Initially, he got a Diploma in Electronics and Communication and then did various jobs. Afterwards, he completed his B.Tech. in the same subject. His company is mechanical and electronics-based.

Recalling his childhood, Alok says that in his house there was a shortage of electricity and water, and he faced many struggles in his childhood. His parents also faced many hardships. He remembered an incident where his mother sold her gold jewellery to get electricity for their home so that he and his siblings could study properly.

Alok shares that MES is the only platform that provides training for working on the ECU of commercial vehicles like buses, trucks, JCBs, etc.

Talking about his struggles, Alok says that he faced many hardships, as initially, when he was doing his diploma, he also tried various businesses to earn money. Initially, he worked in the share market, and he had to do a daily up-down of 200 km every day for two years. He also went to students’ homes to give them tuition. He also made projects for other engineering students. He did multiple tasks along with his studies to support his family financially.  Eventually, he came up with the idea to start working with commercial vehicles. Currently, his firm also provides training to technicians how to read and write the ‘brains’ of commercial vehicles.

Alok’s role model is his father, as he inspired him a lot. His father was a self-employed person, so he followed a fixed routine and discipline in life. These qualities of his father inspired him a lot.

The quote "The silent nature will not let us live, so let's create a ruckus in the world" inspires and motivates him a lot.

Accepting his mistakes, Alok says that he wasted his time focusing on many things or fields due to a lack of guidance. He realised his aim and dream later, which resulted in a waste of time. Now, he is providing guidance to others about how to utilise time.

Alok advises that it is important to take your profession seriously. One should work hard and set their goals earlier so that they can achieve them. In the field of electronics, practical and communication skills are required.

Comparing education and experience, Alok says that both are equally important. Both are two sides of the same coin, and through experience, one can learn new things.
