Alka’s hardwork and zest for education helped her carve out a good teaching career.

Alka Jain is a Hindi Teacher at the Central Public School, Udaipur.

Alka hails from Udaipur, Rajasthan. After doing her graduation, she pursued Masters in Hindi and then went on to do B.Ed. She has done her complete education from Udaipur itself. She got married in the final year of her graduation and had a baby shortly after that. Her education was irregular because of all this but she never quit studying.

After completing her education, Alka began working and accumulated good experience. Six months back, she eventually joined CPS.

When it comes to role models, Alka says that she considers her mother as her role model. She says that her mother’s inspiration drove her to become a working woman.

Apart from teaching, Alka spends time tending to her business. She also likes reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family.

Given a chance to go back in time with a time machine, Alka would like going back to the time before she got married, to make a good career and become independent before getting married.

Advising aspiring teachers, Alka says that it is a big responsibility as you will be moulding the future of the nation. She further adds that you must make a personal relation with your students and realise their unique potential and build up on it.
