A make-up artist and model, Alisha has been in the field of beauty and fashion for the past twelve years. She started her journey again after marriage and is striving hard to establish her identity as one of the best make-up artists.

Alisha Jain is a make-up artist and model from Jaipur. She has been modeling for the past twelve years. In 2020, she also picked the make-up field as her profession.

Referring to her education, Alisha says she did her schooling from S.D. Public School and graduated from Maharani College. She got her MBA from IIPM and worked for two years with corporate companies.

Sharing about her journey, Alisha says, after her marriage, she got busy with her family and kids. But somewhere, she used to feel that this was not the only thing she could do. So, she participated in a Mrs. India pageant, and her interest in the art of make-up developed. This is how her journey started, and now, she loves helping brides look beautiful on their special days.

Speaking about her struggles and mistakes, Alisha says she got married at just the age of twenty-four, and being married means a role of responsibility. There were challenges in front of her to adapt herself to her husband’s family and make everyone accept her the way she is. She wanted to do modeling, but being a daughter-in-law there were some restrictions. But her husband supported her dreams, and she initiated her career.

When asked about her role models, Alisha says she doesn’t consider anyone as her role model. She believes in developing a better version of herself on her own.

During the COVID period, Alisha had almost no work, as in marriages, only fifty people were allowed, and because of that, nobody wanted to spend much on make-up. So, for almost one and a half years, she had to concentrate only on developing her skills and family. But now she is happy that she utilized that time and sharpened her make-up skills.

If she gets a chance to go back in time via a time machine, Alisha would relive her college days, which were her most carefree and relaxed days.

When asked if education or experience matters more in life, Alisha says she considers experience above education. She thinks education alone couldn’t fetch success for anyone, experience is a must.

Alisha says nowadays, she has seen the young generation getting impatient and wanting everything in life quickly. She advises them not to follow someone’s success blindly and not to compare them with others. She also suggests they put all their heart into their chosen field and be patient.

Alisha’s life mantra is “Live and Let Live.”
