As a woman, Akshita, inspired by her mother, has always thought it's important to work toward our own financial independence and inspires others to do the same.

Akshita Babel is working as a software engineer at Target Corporation in Bangalore. She was born in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. She did her schooling at Evergreen Public School, Bhilwara, and her engineering at VIT, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Akshita feels joyful in saying that she had many friends in her school and college days and is connected to all of them even now. However, she regrets not being able to get into an IIT or NIT even after studying hard. She says that joining a local private college has its own struggles.

Talking about COVID, Akshita says that she had been living away from her home for about seven years before she was forced to come back due to this pandemic. Akshita confesses that it was a bit tough to adjust to home rules and to lose the independence she had while living alone. However, she is also happy that she got ample time to spend with her family after years.

Akshita says that there have been many achievements in her life that have made her parents proud. She scored a ten CGPA in her 10th grade, became Ms. Fresher in her college, joined an Entrepreneurship Club, and soon became its head. Working for a block chain company and getting selected for Target Corporation is one of her biggest accomplishments.

Akshita considers her mother to be her role model. She says that her mother always supported her in her career decisions and always encouraged her to achieve something great in life. She says her mother never wanted her daughter to end up being a housewife.

Akshita has a piece of advice for the youth, and that is to attain financial stability in life before getting married. She thinks that being independent in life is very important.
