Coming from a remote village and a simple family background, Akshay has carved a career for himself in CCTV networking with his determination.

Akshay Kumar Yadav hails from a small, isolated village in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. He lives in a big joint family. He did his primary education at the government school in his village. To pursue his further studies, he had to go to a place 40 kms from his village and live there alone to complete his 12th grade and graduation.

Akshay began his career as a CCTV operator for a security firm before moving on to Kota's Bansal Public School. About two years ago, he joined Arcgate, a leading ITES company in Udaipur as a CCTV operator.

Akshay shares that, right from the beginning, he had an interest in CCTV networking. He even had to fight with his family members to learn about CCTV. There were no computers in his village, and he had to go to the city to learn about CCTV.

He draws inspiration from his father, who supported him in joining this field. Whenever Akshay is in any trouble, he calls his father, who counsels him. His father always advised him to never lose hope and to always tread on the right path.

For the newcomers to this field, Akshay’s message is that they must graduate and should also do networking courses. And they must have knowledge about networks and CCTV systems.

If a time machine takes him back in time, he would still choose this line, albeit with more knowledge about it.

Reminiscing about his childhood, Akshay remembers that he would often open up the TV and other gadgets in his house to learn about their composition and working, and many a time he had to face his father’s thrashing for this.

Akshay likes to spend his leisure time swimming, driving, and playing cricket, which he has played up to the district level.
