A gold medallist MTech, Akshay's commitment to education shines through his ongoing pursuit of PhD, a proof to his constant yearning for knowledge and dedication to the teaching profession.

Akshay Sharma is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Aravali Institute of Technical Studies, Udaipur.

Born in Ramganj Mandi, Kota. Akshay did his schooling at St. Mary's Senior Secondary School. Thereafter, he pursued his JEE-IIT preparation. After clearing JEE Mains, he was successful in getting admission to the CTAE College, Udaipur, where he did his BTech.

Though securing a job at Secure Meters after BTech, Akshay, guided by his father, pursued higher education. Qualifying for GATE, he earned a gold medal in MTech.

Inspired by mentors like Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav and Swami Vivekananda, Akshay follows Vivekananda's famous quote "Utho, jago aur tab tak mat ruko jab tak lakshya ki prapti na ho."

Talking about his achievements, Akshay says his achievements extend to national-level football, a gold medal in MTech, 'Young Achiever' award by ISSN, and publications of his research papers in the AIEEE journal.

After completing his MTech, he embraced a teaching career, concurrently pursuing a PhD, balancing research work alongside teaching responsibilities. He feels sad sometimes seeing his peers settle in their career while he is still pursuing his PhD.

Encouraging students, he emphasizes the significance of personal goals and resilience.
