Akhilesh is a chemistry graduate and an entrepreneur who chose to make pharma his friend for life. He has been in business for twenty-five years now.

Akhilesh Joshi has been in the business of pharmaceuticals for twenty-five years now. He particularly deals in raw materials for pharmaceutical products and agrochemicals.

Born and brought up in Indore, Akhilesh, while recollecting his childhood memories, shares that he and his family members experienced struggling times during his early days. He mentions that his father had a government job and that they used to live in a small space. However, Akhilesh continued his studies with dedication and received scholarships, which helped him prosper in life.

Talking about his challenges, Akhilesh says that when he initially started his business, he had no funds, but his hard work kept him in the driver's seat. Akilesh, who is a chemistry graduate, worked in his friend’s company for two years to gain experience before getting into business. He later partnered with someone and got into the business line. However, Akhilesh laments that he lacked self-confidence in the beginning, which could have kept him stable and strong.

Sharing his achievements, Akhilesh says that staying in a joint family while maintaining all his relations for twenty-five years is an achievement for him.

When asked about his role models, Akhilesh says he draws inspiration from his parents, who taught him the value of hard work and honesty.

Akhilesh advises the youth to stay honest and always support the truth. He urges them to accept their mistakes and learn from them.

His hobbies include playing cricket and doing meditation.
