A dedicated banker, Akash is still struggling to achieve his desired goals and objectives. He believes that struggle is important to upgrade your skills.

Akash Sen is a Relationship Manager at ICICI Bank in Udaipur.

Akash hails from Rajsamand. He came to Udaipur in 2012 and completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. In 2017, he started working and is currently working with ICICI Bank as an RM.

Akash shares that he initially started working with Pyrotech Electronics Pvt. Ltd. and worked there for three years. Then, in 2020, he left the job for lack of growth and to start his own startup. Afterwards, he and his friend started their own business and continued it for one and a half years. Then he got an opportunity to work with ICICI Bank.

Talking about his struggles, Akash says that he is still struggling. In his professional journey, he faced many ups and downs and gained experience.

Akash’s role model is Saurabh Ganguly, as he thinks he has great leadership qualities. Akash learned from Saurabh how to tackle the team members.

Advising aspirants to his field, Akash says that to enter this field through competition exams, one should clear the IBPS exam. One can also get a job in a bank on the basis of experience. It is important to have knowledge of sales, as it is the basis of the banking sector.

Comparing education and experience, Akash says that it is important to complete the education first and then gain experience. He says both are important in life and complement each other.

In his free time, Akash likes to play cricket. Currently, he is also learning about Data Analytics Software.

If given a time machine to travel back to his past, Akash would do a B.Tech. in CS instead of Mechanical Engineering.
