Akash has always been passionate about music and used to play guitar in stand-up shows. Together with some artists, he formed a band and converted his passion into his profession.

Akash Das is a Guitarist. He has always been very passionate about music. He is part of a music band of three people, in which he plays the Guitar, one is a Beatboxer and the other one is a Singer who is into Sufi and Indian Classical music. Their band, called ‘Lafz Band’, has been active in Mumbai for the last two years. They have also released some of their original songs on Spotify. He is on Instagram and also has a YouTube Channel where he uploads his videos.

Apart from following his passion, Akash is also working as a Marketing Executive at ‘The Diamond Factory’, a jewelry firm in Mumbai. After doing Engineering, he did several jobs in Sales and Marketing to meet his expenses and to pursue his passion. He says that two years ago, he used to play guitar at stand-up ‘Open Mic shows’ and he had no plans to make a career in this field. There he met both the artists with whom he formed his band and eventually he got into this field.

Akash says that during the lockdown, they were able to channelise their creativity and release their songs on online platforms. He says that he did not face much financial problems because of Covid, as his MBA was going on at that time and due to the lockdown, it got converted into online classes. Besides this, he used to record in his free time and also collaborated with different artists online. He learned many technical things related to recording and it helped him to grow as a professional artist.

Akash considers many guitarists as his role models, such as Slash from Guns N’ Roses, Marty Friedman from Megadeth and Eddie Van Halen from Van Halen. Besides, he is very much inspired by Sahil Makhija, who is a metal artist. He is also inspired by Suraj and Aditya Mishra for being amazing artists.
