A businessman, Akash started his shop as a small perfumery store. Over time, he has developed his business into the biggest perfumery showroom in Nathdwara.

Akash Dabi is the owner of Shree Jee Sugandh in Nathdwara. He has been working in this field for twelve years.

Recalling his childhood, Akash says he was born and brought up in Nathdwara itself. He had never thought of achieving such success in life in this field. He still remembers when he was in 12th grade and asked his father for a mobile phone, he told him to buy it on his own. He started selling perfumes with his father. Later, he completed his BCom from Udaipur and also did his LLB from Anushka College, Udaipur. Currently, he has his own franchise in Mumbai.

Akash shares he deals in all varieties of fragrances, including perfumes and charcoal-free incense sticks.

When asked about his role models, Akash says his father is his biggest role model, as he learned many things from him that can’t be learned anywhere else. He believes that there is no greater teacher than a father. He also looks up to Ajay Gurjar, who is the managing director of Hotel Vallabh Darshan Group, as he provides him with a platform to explore himself and achieve success. Furthermore, Devki Nanadan, his wife, and his friends also inspired and supported him in his endeavors.

Talking about his challenges, Akash says he faced a lot of struggle as at first there was no income in his business. However, he did not lose hope and worked hard to overcome those challenges.

If given a chance to go back in time in a time machine, Akash would like to revisit his childhood, as he misses it and wants to go back in time and live it again, where he used to play and have fun with his friends.

Advising newcomers to business, Akash says you should start with a small investment as it carries a lower risk. Gaining proper knowledge and studying the field is also necessary when starting a business. Forcing your parents to invest a huge amount in any business is not right; you should take small steps and have patience and give your best in order to achieve success.
