An assistant professor, Ajeet has been teaching at a government engineering college for the past five years. He had achieved his childhood dream of becoming an engineer by living a disciplined life and planning his day ahead.

Ajeet Kumar is working as an Assistant Professor at the Government College of Engineering in Patna. He has been teaching for the past five years. He hails from a small village in the district of Nalanda.

Remembering his childhood, Ajeet says his father was a farmer and his uncle was a civil engineer. Since his childhood, he had seen that people used to pay more respect to his uncle in comparison to his father. At a very young age, he understood that educated people get more respect and value in society. So he decided to become an engineer. In his tenth grade, he was the top student in his school. And from there, he only got interested in Math and Science subjects.

Describing his journey, Ajeet says he explored the field of Engineering and collected information about engineering colleges. He then got admission to Bhagalpur Government Engineering College, where he completed his B.Tech. Then he cleared the GATE exam and completed his M.Tech from IIT-Roorkee. After working for a few years with some companies, he got a government job as an assistant professor at a government engineering college.

Speaking about his mistakes, Ajeet says that, as he had done his schooling in the Hindi medium, he was a bit hesitant to join the private sector's big giants like Facebook and others. He used to think that the busy schedule of private sector jobs did not allow individuals to have free time with their family. Sometimes he regrets that he missed the chance to get a good opportunity in the private sector.

When asked about his role models, Ajeet says he considers his uncle as his first role model. He also looks up to many of the people he met during his journey, who taught him so many things in life.

Ajeet's life mantra is that planning your day ahead and keeping track of your goals daily makes your life easy and helps you achieve your goals. He believes in living life in a disciplined way.

Ajeets'  advice for the young generation is to build their career in the field they are interested in.
