Ajay Mandal is a teacher by profession. He has been teaching for the past ten years. Initially, he would give home tuition. Now he is a tutor at a coaching institute.
Talking about his childhood, Ajay says that he belongs to a village named Amjar in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. As a kid, he had to struggle to study. His father did not have a well-paying job. Ajay would give tuition to kids so that he could support himself.
Talking about struggles, Ajay says that he would give tuition, and owing to that, he could not focus on his own studies. He had to struggle to strike a balance between his own studies and providing tuition to others. He strived for around ten years, but today he is teaching math to students in grades 11 and 12. He also teaches math and reasoning for competitive exams. Besides, he also tries to provide tuition to those who can’t afford it.
Ajay says that he wants to be a good leader. He aims to address and find solutions to the problems that our country faces at large. Ajay brings up the fact that our education system has many pitfalls. He says that we don’t have good teachers and a good quality of education.
Ajay, through his YouTube channel, also gives career counseling to children. He makes motivational videos so as to bring the diverted youth back on track. He adds that, owing to the lack of proper guidance and mentorship, we choose careers that we later realize we don’t want to pursue anymore. He himself chose the science-math stream in high school and struggled with physics and chemistry, as his base from earlier classes was not that strong.
Ajay, after completing his schooling, started teaching at a private school. After joining the school, he realized that the students were struggling with physics and chemistry. He would procure books from the market and study these subjects himself so that he could teach his students well.
Ajay says that owing to the ongoing pandemic, he is struggling on the financial front as he is not able to run his coaching institute smoothly. He even had to borrow money. He is also preparing for government exams and is optimistic about passing one.
He is a keen dancer and singer. He likes to listen to sad songs because he believes that they resonate with his life situations. He thinks that listening to songs helps relieve the stress in our lives.

Ajay aims to build a hospital in his city to provide affordable treatment to the underprivileged sections of society. Besides, he also wants to provide an affordable, good education to needy students.
