Driven by his passion to draw, Ajay Bhagat is an established tattoo artist today and owns a full-fledged tattoo studio.

Ajay Bhagat has been running his studio named AJ Tattoozz for seven years at Badlapur, Thane.

Ajay belongs to Uttar Pradesh. He says, due to financial constraints, he was unable to get higher education. For him, his art skills were the only source to earn money and make a living.

Talking about his entry into the field of tattooing, Ajay says that he had loved to draw since his school time. He used to draw in his free time instead of playing with his friends.  In 2015, when he entered this field, he saw that there are many great tattoo artists. To do something unique, he went to Delhi and took training at Manjeet Tattoos, a globally recognized Institute.

Continuing to share about his journey, Ajay says that after doing his advanced tattoo course, he came back to Badlapur. He opened his studio and recruited some people. Unfortunately, just when his business had started, COVID struck and forced him to shut his studio.

Sharing his Covid experience, Ajay says that the pandemic hit the tattooing profession badly and owing to that he had to struggle a lot. Initially, he enjoyed the lockdown, but things became tough when the pandemic continued and his studio remained shut. To make good use of the time, Ajay planned to work on himself and started to bring more improvement in his drawings. The pandemic was the toughest part of his life, says Ajay.

Ajay considers Manjeet Singh as his role model in life. Also, there are many other tattoo artists who have inspired Ajay. He is also inspired by every small thing that comes his way, says Ajay.

In his free time, Ajay does not sit idle. He plans for his future and then tries to execute it. He does not waste his time. He works on himself when he is free. Ajay likes traveling if he is free for 10 to 15 days.

Advising the youth, Ajay says that they should have good observation abilities. He further advises that the youth should observe everything to increase their creativity. Ajay further suggests that they should be very careful in choosing their careers to move ahead in their lives.
