Aditya is a budding entrepreneur, who entered the IT industry and never looked back till he established his own IT company.

Aditya Vaishnav is the Founder, CEO & Shopify Partner at Blueslag Technologies.

Born in a village near Ratlam, Aditya moved to Ratlam after completing his ninth standard. He has done his education from there itself. Having scored excellent marks in his twelfth standard, his family wanted him to prepare for the CSE and become a government officer, but he decided against it due to his family’s financial situation.

Aditya then went to Indore with one of his friends to instead prepare for the banking exams. After studying there for about six months, it occurred to him that getting a government job was not his cup of tea, so both of them dropped their preparation in favour of learning job-oriented skills.

In 2018, Aditya and his friend got a job in an IT company as BDA. He got to learn many skills, including English communication, during his stint there. After working there for a year, both of them switched to another company where they were entrusted with numerous responsibilities. Aditya says that this was a great learning experience for him as he was handling most of the company’s operations. After about six months, they had to return to Ratlam due to his friend’s fathers demise, but they continued working from there.

Simultaneously, Aditya and his friend-cum-partner started their own IT company - Blueslag Technologies, in 2019. During the lockdown, the company saw a boom in business. Later, seeing the market trends, Aditya and his friend entered into the E-Commerce sector as well by extending their operations. This decision proved fruitful as they got to work with the industry giants soon. His future plans include entering into the media field with filmmaking and YouTube ventures.

Aditya’s journey was not an easy one. Sharing his period of struggles, he says that there were times when he used to work for hours on end to manage everything in his life. Adjusting in a new city without any prior experience was also a challenge for him. However, he says that all this couldn’t stop him as he was determined to keep going.

Talking about role models, Aditya says that his partner is a big inspiration and a mentor to him. He says that despite a few hurdles, their relationship became very deep and personal and they are like brothers to each other.

Drawing comparisons between education and experience, Aditya says that while good education may land you a job, it is the experience which will help you grow further in your career. He further adds that experience is not simply measured in years, but in the value of the work that you have done.

Speaking of major achievements in his life, Aditya says that starting a company from scratch, followed by starting another one, especially when he had never thought about it, is a big feat for him.

Advising budding entrepreneurs, Aditya says that you should have a sound knowledge of your field and you should also gain industry experience by getting a job and selecting a sub-niche based on your skill and preference. Then, he says, you are ready to start your own venture. He also presses that after starting your own business, you should focus on popularising it as well.

Sharing his experience of the COVID pandemic, Aditya says that despite obvious suffering, the IT and the Pharmaceutical industry have seen a boom.

Aditya is a workaholic who revels in creating new ideas every day to grow his business and thus doesn’t get much time to practise his hobbies or create new ones. However, he likes doing adventure sports and travelling whenever he gets free time.
