Besides being a Podcaster and a Motivational Speaker, Abhishek Patodi is also the Co-founder of The Craftment.com.
He started this business during the lockdown which runs completely online, where he provides a digital platform to local artists whose products are not easily accessible to people. He does digital marketing of their paintings and other arts and helps them reach the target audience. Apart from this, he has also been doing solo podcasts, but to take his work forward, he is trying to collaborate with influencers and artists to perform on a single platform. Plus, he has a Youtube channel where he posts educational and motivational videos. He is also contributing in his family business of Pharmaceuticals to take it forward by trying to fill in the gaps by finding loopholes in it.
Abhishek considers his uncle to be his inspiration because he has made himself a successful person from scratch and today everyone knows him.
Abhishek talks about the challenges he faced. When he initially started his business, everyone around assured him support but when he really needed it, no one stood by him. But gradually he contacted big builders and exhibited his paintings in their auditoriums, from there he started getting recognition in the market and things started to fall in place.
Talking about his achievements, Abhishek says he has worked with UNESCO as a Fundraiser for artists and other small business owners globally, having financial issues due to the pandemic. Also, he has been an athlete in his school time which is no less than an achievement for him.
Abhishek tells us about his Covid experience that he is an extrovert who loves to hang out and socialize with people. But during the lockdown, when he remained confined to home, he came across his other sides and flaws, which he started working on. Further, because of Covid, he was able to start his business or else he would have been doing some job.
According to Abhishek, both Education and Experience have their own importance but for him, experience matters the most because he feels that our education system is very limited and doesn’t teach us much, having no place for talent.
Abhishek always spends his free time improving his skills and trying to learn from the experts of various fields.
If anyone wants to come into this field, then Abhishek suggests them to be patient for at least four months for things to happen, learn digital marketing from online courses, approach clients, make your own website and the moment you learn something out of it, then try to apply it at the same time to progress in your work.
