Abhishek Giri Goswami lives in Udaipur with his parents, wife, and son. He completed his schooling at Alok School in Udaipur in the field of commerce. He started working with his cousin after his studies, who was a civil engineer and owned a firm. He worked with him for nearly eight to ten years to gain experience before starting his venture.

Abhishek saw a lot of ups and downs in his life initially, because no one thought waterproofing or leak-proofing were necessary for their houses. Only recently people have started realizing that it is a need. Abhishek worked with a lot of big companies to expand his business. Abhishek helps his clients to waterproof their basement, toilets, sewage, terraces, and swimming pools.

Abhishek says providing timely services, tackling problems tactfully, and staying up-to-date with technology have been the reasons for his success.

Abhishek had to stay away from his friends because of his work. He even remembers how once he worked for forty-four hours without a break to solve a problem. He thinks he has sacrificed a lot because of his work.

For anyone who wants to join this field, Abhishek thinks thorough knowledge of the field is the most important. If someone thinks waterproofing is just like regular paint, they are wrong. There are a lot of technicalities involved and having the basic knowledge of everything is important.

Abhishek believes having just theoretical knowledge and no practical knowledge is not sufficient for a person to thrive in their respective fields. Therefore, he thinks experience is very important in life.

Abhishek concludes he was not a born leader but experience taught him the traits of leadership.

Abhishek was not a very bright student. He was always inclined towards creativity rather than routine work and always got scolded by his dad for not performing well in his school. But he thinks, his dad would be happy now to see him do what he liked and become successful.

His role model in life has been his cousin brother who taught him all the construction-related work and motivated him to set-up his construction firm.

Although Abhishek wanted to pursue chartered accountancy in the past, he is happy with what he is today and says he would not want to change anything going back in time.

When Abhishek is free from his work, he likes to go on long drives with his family and play games with his son.
