Abhishek Arora, founder of Arora Music Classes, started his academy in Alwar during a time when music was not widely embraced. Despite early struggles and familial opposition, he pursued his passion for music, eventually earning recognition with his band, The Flames, and completing a degree in guitar from Trinity College of London.

Abhishek Arora is the founder of Arora Music Classes, a well-established music institute located in Alwar. With a passion for music and teaching, he has successfully been running the academy for the past six years, nurturing talent and providing a platform for aspiring musicians to hone their skills.

Speaking of his achievements, Arora proudly shares that his band, The Flames, secured second place in the prestigious Battle of Bands competition across all of Rajasthan. This remarkable accomplishment earned them the opportunity to perform live alongside the renowned Salim-Sulaiman band, an experience that was both exciting and enriching.

Although they did not win any prizes at the national level, Abhishek views this as a stepping stone in his musical journey. Furthering his education, he completed his degree in guitar from the esteemed Trinity College of London, a significant achievement that deepened his expertise and solidified his standing as a skilled musician and educator.

Arora shares that he started his music academy during a time when music wasn't widely popular in Alwar, and there was only one other institute offering music education, Kala Bharti. It was at this very institute that Abhishek first discovered his love for music, deeply immersing himself in the art form and fuelling his passion. This experience inspired him to establish his own academy, where he could pass on his knowledge and foster a greater appreciation for music in his community.

He further shares that it took several years of hard work before he began to see the fruits of his efforts. There were many times when he felt his career was stagnant and his progress was slow. However, he remained patient and persistent, understanding that success would come with time.

To kick start his career, Abhishek Arora even performed his first show free of charge, simply to gain experience and exposure. Later, along with other students from Kala Bharti, he formed a music band, where he took on the roles of lead guitarist and acoustic guitarist. They started performing live concerts at local hotels, often for a modest fee, but these small gigs provided invaluable experience and helped him establish himself in the music scene.

Recalling his childhood, Abhishek Arora fondly remembers spending quality time with his family and friends. He completed his schooling at Bal Bharti School until the 10th grade, after which he pursued his 11th and 12th at Achievers Academy in Alwar.

Initially, Arora enrolled in a B.Com. program, but he quickly realised that his passion did not lie in that field. This realisation led him to take a bold step—he dropped out of college in his first year to pursue something he truly loved. He then enrolled in a BA in Music, a decision that set him on the path to follow his passion. Later, he furthered his education by completing an MA in Music, solidifying his expertise and commitment to the art.

When asked about his role models, Abhishek Arora shares that he draws deep inspiration from his music gurus, who have shaped his understanding and love for the art form. Additionally, he looks up to legendary celebrities like A.R. Rahman, whose innovative compositions have left an indelible mark on the music world, as well as Lata Mangeshkar, whose timeless voice has inspired generations, and Adnan Sami, whose mastery over music and piano resonates with him. These figures, through their talent and dedication, continue to motivate Abhishek in both his musical and teaching journey.

Describing his struggles, Arora shares that pursuing his passion for music was not an easy path, especially when it meant going against his family's wishes. His parents were initially unsupportive of his decision to pursue music as a career, as they saw it as an unpredictable and uncertain path.

However, Abhishek Arora remained determined to follow his dreams. Over time, his parents began to understand his deep passion for music. It was then that his father, recognising his commitment, gifted him his first guitar—a gesture that marked the beginning of Abhishek's musical journey. This moment, despite the challenges, became a turning point that solidified his resolve to build a career in music.

Drawing valuable lessons from his own mistakes, Arora emphasises the importance of staying humble and open to the guidance of elders, even after achieving success in one's career. He believes that no profession should be looked down upon or considered less valuable than others, as every career path offers unique challenges and rewards that contribute to society in its own way.

Abhishek Arora advises the youth to follow their true passions and pursue careers in fields they genuinely enjoy. According to him, when you choose something you love, the effort and dedication you put in naturally lead to better outcomes. He further stresses the significance of consistency and perseverance, urging young people to stay focused and committed, as success is the result of continuous hard work and never giving up, no matter the obstacles.

Arora enjoys travelling and biking, finding joy in exploring new places and the freedom that comes with riding. In his leisure time, he immerses himself in classical music, appreciating its depth and tranquillity. He also has a keen interest in art, often taking time to observe paintings by various artists, which inspire him creatively. To restore his mental peace, Abhishek reads books, using them as a way to relax and rejuvenate his mind.
