If you respect the game, the game will respect you.

Abhimanyu Sharma, the Director and Head Coach at Master Blaster Cricket Academy in Kota, has been dedicated to his work for nine years. He holds certifications as a cricket level 1 and 2 trainer.
Abhimanyu’s journey in cricket began at the age of 14, when he played junior cricket for Rajasthan. Despite striving to play at the national level until 2011-12, he redirected his passion towards teaching his students to achieve their dreams when his own dream remained unfulfilled.
Inspired by Sachin Tendulkar, Abhimanyu instills the value of respecting the game in his students, echoing Tendulkar's belief that if you respect the game, it will respect you.
Starting with just 2-3 students, the Master Blaster Academy in Kota has now grown to accommodate around 150 students across two centers in Bansal Public School and St. John’s Senior Secondary School, informs Abhimanyu. They actively participate in tournaments, boasting two Rajasthan level players and 13 district level players.
Abhimanyu faced initial challenges when establishing his academy in Kota after relocating from Jaipur in 2014. However, with time, the local community has begun to support him, leading to an increase in the number of students.
His advice to young athletes is to prioritize the game, maintain high fitness levels, and pursue education alongside cricket to have a backup plan or the option to balance a job and sports.
In his opinion, success in cricket can take various forms, such as winning the Ranji Trophy, playing in the IPL, representing the national team, or coaching players. He emphasizes the importance of both education and experience in his field and believes that education is essential in any profession.
If given the chance to go back in time in a time machine, Abhimanyu would revisit 2007-2008 to apply his coaching experience and work harder to achieve his cricketing goals.
He encourages the youth to reduce their screen time, engage in sports for mental development, and invites those interested in joining his academy to reach out through Google. The academy, equipped with facilities like a bowling machine, turf wicket, and astroturf, accepts students aged 4-25 and boasts a team of experienced coaches.
