Abhijeet Raghuwanshi hails from Vidisha and is currently a practicing CA in Bhopal for the last four years.
Reflecting on his childhood, Abhijeet says that he spent his childhood in Vidisha. He belonged to a middle-class family. His father was a government officer and earlier Abhijeet wanted to become an engineer but his aspirations changed during his schooling.
Talking about his journey, Abhijeet says that till tenth class, he did not have any idea about what he wanted to pursue in future. After completing his tenth, he explored the CA field as his father wanted him to do so. He says that he came into the field just to explore however, gradually grew interested in the field and continued pursuing the same.
He lost his father a few days before his CA final exams but with family support and his hard work, he managed to deal with the depression of losing his father and cleared the exams. He also faced a few health challenges during his exams, but with some research and diet changes, he managed to overcome the health issues as well.
Since his childhood, he did not want to work under anybody and therefore came into independent CA practice. He says that initially, he got smaller assignments but with hard work and honesty, he opened his own office at his home and started getting bigger opportunities. He says that the challenges were a lot, but he was determined to overcome every challenge that came his way. He also pursued a course of forensics and DISA and cleared the exams for the same for additional qualifications.
Abhijeet says that a few positive books like Power of the Subconscious Mind, the Bhagavad Gita, and Morning Miracle have helped him a lot during his entire journey. He adds that in his four years of CA journey, he has been through a lot and has achieved satisfaction in his life.
Regarding his mistakes, Abhijeet says initially, he did not focus on his health and schedules due to which he had to attempt the CA exams multiple times. However, he soon realized and improvised his diet and schedules and achieved his dream.
When asked about his role models, Abhijeet says that his father has been his role model. His father bought him a computer and helped him learn advanced skills. His father did everything possible to get him equipped with a quality education.
When asked how he deals with stress, Abhijeet says that organizing things at home and listening to motivational and soothing songs are his favorite activities that help him get stress-free.
To the aspiring Chartered Accountants, Abhijeet says that though the journey is difficult, it has a lot of scope. Just be determined and you will definitely achieve success. Maintain discipline, focus on your health, and study hard, and you will definitely qualify for CA, says Abhijeet. Mobile phones are the greatest distraction and he advises the young aspiring CA students to use mobile phones in a productive manner or else keep this distraction away.
