Abhijeet Sanjeev Patankar hails from Pune. He has been performing as a professional singer for the last twenty-three years across India. He also owns a band and does singing concerts across the world along with his wife.

Recalling his childhood memories, Abhijeet says that his family was always very supportive and they supported him a lot to pursue a career in the music industry.

Giving a brief about his journey, Abhijeet says that he started singing when he was three to four years. He performed in his school for the first time and that was when his father predicted that Abhijeet will become a singer. However, he was too young for the decision then, and after 2000, he took music as a profession and has been learning from his guru Avinash Jhamborkar and performing since then.

Regarding his mistakes, Abhijeet says that mistakes are a part of our lives, and if you commit mistakes, it is important to learn to rectify them as soon as possible. He says that he has also made several mistakes, however, with proper guidance and learning, he rectified his mistakes and has reached where he is today.

When asked about his role models, Abhijeet says that his father has been the one for him for always supporting him. Talking about his role models in the music industry, Abhijeet says that singers Sonu Nigam and Mohammed Rafi are the greatest inspirations for him.

Sharing his success mantra, Abhijeet says he believes that success cannot be achieved overnight and there is no shortcut to success. One needs to work hard to achieve their aspirations.

Speaking about his hobbies, Abhijeet says that he loves to travel with his friends and family in his free time. Also, he loves clicking photographs, and watching cricket when free.

To the young aspiring musicians, Abhijeet advises them to learn from some professional and learned singers. He says that one needs to learn and work hard in order to reach a successful level and earn a good sum of money in this industry.
