With a zeal to impart quality education, Abhay believes the rule of life is happiness and recommends everyone do what they please. He thinks that being free from fears and failures can help attain success in life.

Abhay Raj Jain is the founder and director of Curious Kids Nursery School, one of the largest and most renowned pre-schools in Rajasthan.

Born in the village of Beawer, Abhay studied there until his third grade. His passion for the education field began during his college years.

Abhay has had a passion for pursuing a career in the field of education since his early years. During his MBA, his graduation project was titled "International Standard of Mastery of the Preschooling Segment within India and Outside." He was compelled to dedicate himself to this profession following the survey of this project.

Talking about his childhood memories, Abhay adds that he moved to Mumbai after his third grade and did his education in various cities in the country as his father had a transferable job. Hence, during his childhood, most of his schooling was done in Mumbai. In 11th grade, he had a bad experience due to his poor command of English and physics. This is when he realized the importance of quality education and how he should make a career out of providing it to other students.

When asked about his struggles, Abhay mentions that the concept of pre-schooling was new in Udaipur. He faced challenges in making people familiar with the new concept of education he had in mind. He was successfully able to make people adapt to this concept with all of his success and determination.

Abhay believes that quality is always the final word. Quality of education is the most important aspect, along with consistency. He adds that even though his school has been in the market for the past 20 years, he continues to learn and evolve every day to stay relevant in the ever-changing scenario of this dynamic field.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Abhay mentions that on the personal front, he had to be extra cautious as he lived with his mother, who is older and more vulnerable to the virus. Unfortunately, he contracted the virus while in the gym but recovered from it later without impacting his family members.

On the professional front, Abhay says that the government's input in the generality of fees to be paid by parents was unacceptable to him. Some parents earned more during the lockdown, while others did not earn anything owing to the different professions they have. He opines that generalization was not a wise step. But later, when the central government revised the norms for fees, he was content with them.

Abhay gives a few tips and advice about how to gain success in his field. He highlights that delivering quality rather than quantity and learning from other people’s success stories can help you. One should also learn from what has caused other people's losses. Abhay adds that the operational area should be 50% of the planning area. Once your operations are better, the children passing out of the schools with better skills will act as brand ambassadors in the future.

Abhay believes in being free from fear and failure. Fear will help you work better and produce good results. He also adds that in this industry, we must refrain from giving favors to the children of the privileged and try to give quality education to every child in the classroom.

When asked about role models, Abhay considers the late Mr. B.N. Sanglami as one. He is also one of the founding members of Curious Kids School. Under his guidance, Abhay learned many concepts, and he gives him due respect for the school's reaching new heights.

According to Abhay, when one enters the professional field, education is more important, as recruiters hire based on one’s degrees. Down the line, the experience becomes an individual's most important asset. Hence, becoming a successful person comes with experience, but to start your career, education is very important.

When it comes to leadership, Abhay states that it consists of three main things: a rational mind, convincing ability, and sound communication. One who is able to apply all three of these things will be able to become a good and influential leader.
