Aayush is working in the FMCG sector and feels his family support helped him grow. He was an average school student and now is a team leader with forty-eight people reporting to him.

Aayush Mehta is working as a Zonal Sales Manager in the Dharampal Satyapal Group heading the divisions of Jharkhand, West Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. He has been associated with this company for the past four years. Before joining DS Group, Aayush worked at Candico India for nine years.

Aayush was born and brought up in Delhi. He hails from a humble middle-class family and did his schooling at DAV school. He shares that his grandparents and father were both working in sales and hence it was the only field that attracted Aayush the most.

Crediting his success to his family, Aayush says that he was always a studious child. He always got the support of his family and in fact, he got his first job at a company his father was already working at. Aayush says that his father helped him find ground in this field and unfortunately, he passed away in the COVID wave. Aayush shares that Devendra Singh Katiyal, his father’s best friend, is a go-to person for him now.

Advising the youth and the aspirants in the sales field, Aayush says that people tend to become very comfortable after meeting targets and start taking everything for granted. He advises that the field of sales is very fickle and nothing should be taken for granted. He says that a constant connection should be kept with the clients and one should be ready for any unexpected change in the sales field.

Talking about his achievements, Aayush says he and his team have been the best performers for the past two years. Also, surviving in this sector for the past twelve years is also an achievement according to him.

Aayush says that his life mantra is to keep working hard and keep learning. He says that we should always look for positive aspects in life.

In his free time, Aayush likes playing computer and mobile games, listening to music, and traveling. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
