A musician, Aaron had found his passion in music since his school days. He runs his own music academy and in just two years has expanded it to five branches.

Aaron Arokiaswamy is a musician from Pune. He has been active in the music field for the past fourteen years.

Sharing his journey, Aaron says he had started learning music since he was ten years old. He used to go to music classes in Pune, where he completed a four years course in music. But his father made him leave music as he was not focusing on studies. However, his music-journey did not stop. He became the choir in-charge in his school, due to which he got a lot of encouragement.

But he had to face a lot of opposition from his parents, as they wanted him to concentrate more on his studies and keep music aside. This time was the most difficult time for Aaron because for him music was always the center of his life.  Eventually, he decided to make music his profession, despite opposition from his parents. He started his new journey as an assistant music teacher at the same institution where he had learned music from.

After working for three years, he was promoted to the Head of the Department. In 2019, he completed two grades in music from Trinity college of London. He always had a vision to take music forward and with this vision he started Crescendo Music Academy in 2022.

Remembering his childhood, Aaron says he had a happy childhood. He used to be good in studies too along with his music. His mother was a singer in the church, so he also inherited his love for music. His father wanted him to serve the country by joining the army, but it was not possible for him because he was more inclined towards music.

Speaking about his achievements, Aaron says after launching his music academy in 2022, he is now running five branches of his academy in Pune. He is also working as a music faculty at the same college with which he received his education. He is also associated with two of the reputed schools of the city.  Another of his achievements was when his music covers used to get published on YouTube when he was in tenth class.

When asked about his mistakes, Aaron says one of his major mistakes was that he took formal education in the field of music very late and feels he should have started it earlier. He feels that if he had already taken the degrees he is taking today, he would have been further ahead in his path today.

When asked about his role model, Aaron says he considers his music teacher Leonel sir as his role model. He gives credit for introducing music in his life to his music teacher. He also seeks inspiration from his other music teacher, Jonetta from Trinity School of Music of London. His father also played an important role in his life who always inspired him to follow punctuality in life.

Aaron advises the young generation that earlier there was less awareness about the opportunities available in the field of music. But these days there are several platforms which offer various music courses and opportunities in music. So, he suggests the youth to explore the opportunities and never stop themselves. He says music is a vast field and one could achieve everything they aspires for.

Aaron’s life mantra is “Never stop, never halt, just keep going in life.” He believes one should learn to live and lead a successful life along with challenges. Challenges make life interesting and encouraging, he believes.
