Aarav Seth is a thirteen-year-old student activist based in Ghaziabad. He is passionate about planting trees. He is also the Founder of the NGO named “We Rise Together” which primarily addresses social and environmental issues that concern our country at large.
Aarav shares that under the aegis of the NGO, he has spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and has also donated sanitary pads to women belonging to the underprivileged strata of society from donations raised through social media and through various donors both domestic and international.
Talking about Covid, Aarav says that due to the pandemic, he could not go out and meet his friends. However, his family members helped him organize his online webinars.
According to Aarav, a leader ought to work on ground level to make changes at higher levels. Besides, he says that a leader is someone who works with his team and moves along with the team as it moves.
Aarav thinks that Education and Experience both go hand in hand. He says education makes you aware of things whilst experience helps you execute things.
Being able to educate many women about Menstrual Hygiene and thus making the world a better place to live for each one of us is Aarav’s biggest achievement.
In his spare time, Aarav watches videos about the Environment on YouTube and also learns to code.
If he could go back in time, Aarav would want to relive the early days of his childhood.
