Since childhood, Aackriti was very fond of clothes and wanted to become a model. Today she has fulfilled both of her dreams as she is a successful fashion designer as well as a model.

Aackriti Malik is a Fashion Designer, Consultant and Blogger. She believes in designing personalities and just not clothes as she thinks that clothes define your personality and your profession.

Aackriti was very fond of clothing and wanted to become a model since childhood, so she started her fashion designing journey in 2012. She works in Bespoke Designing which no one else does in Udaipur.

Aackriti hails from Udaipur. After doing B.Com from Udaipur, she did a Fashion Designing course from Pearl Academy, Delhi. She also did consulting and a one-year Cosmetology course. from Delhi itself and became a Fashion Consultant.

Aackriti says she won a Rajasthan pageant in 2017 and after that she fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a model and till date she is into modeling too.

Talking about struggles, Aackriti says that there have been many struggles in her life as she did her B.Com privately because she was pursuing Fashion Designing course simultaneously and people used to think that she would not be able to do anything in life. But she was determined and clear in her head about what she wanted to do and hence today, she has owned a well settled business for nine years.

Aackriti thinks that the Covid period was great because everyone was free and got a chance to have their own time. She says it was great for her as well as she could introspect about her work and had ample amount of time to relax and live a stress free life.

Aackriti advises everyone who wants to start their own startup, to be confident and trust yourself. She emphasizes by saying that people’s job is to say something and they will say something, but you shouldn’t pay attention to them instead focus on your work and keep moving forward.

Aackriti opines that education is important but not as much as experience because practical life is more important than bookish knowledge as experience teaches you to live life and move ahead.

Aackriti has been inspired by many people in her life like Aditi Gujaral in modeling, Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar and Archana Kochhar in fashion designing as she has walked the ramp for them.

If Aackriti gets a time machine to travel in time, she would prefer going into the future and changing things to make the future better rather than going into the past and correcting the mistakes that have already been made and experienced.

Apart from work, Aackriti loves to spend time with her parents and pets, as she is a pet lover.

Aackriti shares a lesson with the upcoming models that modeling is a profession and a respectful job. But it’s a harsh truth that all the models are dummies for the designers that they are working for, as you are not there to show your skin, but you are there to show their outfits.

Aackriti’s mantra of fashion designing is being classy so it’s not necessary to design what is in trend but elegance is what she looks for in her designs.
